Please note that it is extremely important that Head Office is notified of any staff amendments prior to the7th of the month. If not received on time, you will be billed for the incorrect staff on your account. Please remember that staff cannot be loaded to the Union and SPF without the relevant completed documents. Please obtain copies of these forms out of the Registration kits or contact the office for copies to be sent to you.

WAGE NEGOTIATIONS AND SALARY INCREASES AS FROM 1 JANUARY 2013 FOR ALL PARTY SALONS AND ON DAY OF PUBLICATION IN GOVERNMENT GAZETTE FOR NON-PARTIES.
1. SALARY INCREASES:
5% Salary Increase for all categories in the Gauteng, Alberton, Free state, Kimberley, Port Elizabeth and East London area.
4.5% Salary increase for all categories in the North West area.
2. PROVIDENT FUND:
No increase for the Employer portion and for the Employee portion in the Gauteng, Alberton, Free State, Kimberley, Port Elizabeth and East London area. Percentage stays 6% of salary.
0.5% increase for Employer and 0.5% Employee portion in the North West Area.
3. SICK PAY FUND:
- Sick Pay fund to be compulsory for all employees in the industry no matter if you belong to the Union (UASA) or not.
- 60 Days reduced to 22 Days per annum.
- Full pay from day 1 (one).
- All normal procedures for claims will still remain the same.

Please note that the Council will automatically update its system to incorporate the above increases. Please look at your Returns that you receive via e-mail and or post to look for the changes on the contributions and please incorporate these deductions on the payslips of your employees.
